University of Arkansas and NWACC professors and students shared expertise as they preserved and beautified the Old Buxton Cemetery in Bella Vista.

Dr. Kenneth Kvamme and his archeology class from the University of Arkansas will be working with non-invasive remote sensing equipment, including GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) to help identify the 126 grave sites. There are less than 20 headstones remaining. The cemetery was established in 1845.
